1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Sterling Acting Academy! By accessing or using our website, enrolling in our courses, or utilizing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use our services. Sterling Acting Academy ("Academy," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of such changes. 2. User Responsibilities
As a user of Sterling Acting Academy’s services, you agree to the following:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or device.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for courses or services.
- You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or inhibit their use and enjoyment of our services.
- You will not engage in any conduct that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable towards other students, instructors, or Academy staff.
- You will adhere to all Academy rules and regulations, including those pertaining to classroom conduct, attendance, and assignment submission.
- You are responsible for securing your own personal property while on the Academy premises. The Academy is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
3. Payment Terms
Enrolling in Sterling Acting Academy's courses requires payment of applicable tuition fees. Payment terms are as follows:
- Tuition fees are due in full prior to the start of each course, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- We accept payment via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit card, and bank transfer.
- A late payment fee of $50 may be assessed for payments received after the due date.
- Returned checks will incur a $35 processing fee.
- Payment plans may be available for certain courses. Contact our admissions office at [email protected] or (323) 555-2211 to inquire about payment plan options.
- All fees are listed in U.S. dollars.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your enrollment. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund, less a $100 administrative fee.
- Cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the start of the course will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of the course are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the course has commenced.
- In the event that Sterling Acting Academy cancels a course, students will receive a full refund.

5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content provided by Sterling Acting Academy, including but not limited to course materials, lectures, scripts, and website content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree to the following:
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Academy content without our prior written consent.
- You may use Academy content solely for your personal educational purposes.
- Any unauthorized use of Academy content may result in legal action.
- Sterling Acting Academy retains all rights to its trademarks, logos, and other proprietary marks. You may not use our trademarks without our express written permission.
- Student work created during Academy courses may be used by the Academy for promotional purposes, with appropriate credit given to the student.
6. Code of Conduct
Sterling Acting Academy is committed to providing a positive and respectful learning environment for all students. We expect all students to adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Treat all students, instructors, and staff with respect and courtesy.
- Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or bullying.
- Participate actively and constructively in class discussions and activities.
- Respect the opinions and perspectives of others.
- Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor at all times.
- Abide by all Academy rules and regulations.
- Violation of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the Academy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sterling Acting Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on our services; (c) any content obtained from our services; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

10. Modifications to Terms
Sterling Acting Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. 11. Severability
